Stratasys Inc is one of the leaders in 3D printing. Its Orthodesk and Objet EdenV printers are already used by dental laboratories to print orthodontic molds and supplies for restorative dentistry. Until now 3D printing has not been in full colour meaning objects printed had to be coloured later. It has now launched VeroGlaze dental material for use with its Objet EdenV and OrthoDesk 3D Printers. Crest launches Chocolate flavoured toothpaste
Crest announced last week that it will be releasing a new chocolate flavoured toothpaste. Procter & Gamble are releasing a new line of “unexpected and fun” toothpaste flavours called Crest Be, which will include “Mint Chocolate Trek”, “Vanilla Mint Spark” and “Lime Spearmint Zest”. All of this begs the question. Who on earth wants to brush their teeth with chocolate?? One the main reasons for brushing is the fresh aftertaste. The first bluetooth enabled toothbrush
The Consumer Electronics Show took place earlier this month in Las Vegas and there was a very interesting toothbrush on show. Kolibree have come up with the first electric toothbrush connected using Bluetooth technology which means it can be connected to a smartphone or tablet. The toothbrush relays data back to your phone which can be viewed through an app. The app will give you information about how you brushed your teeth telling you what areas you may have neglected.
