CAMLOG was founded in 1998 in Switzerland by Dr Alex Kirsch. The Camlog implant system was launched in 1999. US NASDAQ listed company Henry Schein Inc acquired a majority stake in the company in 2004. Henry Schein Inc is the largest provider of healthcare products and services to office-based practitioners in the combined North American and European markets.

 

In 2003, Camlog recorded sales of over €25m, with the majority of those sales to customers in Germany. Today CAMLOG products are sold in: Austria, China, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Poland, Singapore, Spain, South Korea, Taiwan, and Turkey and the U.S.. Camlog claims that it is the second most popular system on the market today.

 

Camlog produces only one implant system known as the screw line, which are conical screw implants. The SCREW-LINE Implant is suitable for immediate or delayed placement and immediate or delayed loading.
